Sen. Rand Paul is currently speaking on the Senate floor against the bulk data collection employed by the National Security Agency.
“Are you really willing to give up your liberty for a little security?” Paul asked from the Senate floor.
The NSA claims it has the authority to collect information on innocent Americans under Section 215 of the Patriot Act. Paul began his filibuster at approximately 1:18 p.m.
