Defund the GOP, Reboot the Party

Glenn Beck recently captured the sentiments of many Republican voters when he said he would be leaving the party. I completely understand where he’s coming from, and I agree with him. Recently it seems the Republican establishment is trying to exile the very people it claims to represent.

In the 2014 election cycle, the GOP establishment either abandoned or outright declared war on several liberty candidates running on the Republican ticket. The establishment wasted millions of dollars in primaries when they could have otherwise saved it to support the eventual nominees. To them, holding onto power is more important than standing up for principle.

Since the elections, the leadership in the GOP’s Surrender Caucus has been content to roll over on nearly every major issue, refusing to use their constitutional authority to fight the current administration’s usurpations.
